About

Steve Symsack, President

Steve has maintained a high-performance track record for sales and real estate investments with management and
leadership expertise in corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Previously, as a broker with Gershman Commercial,  Steve worked as a Landlord’s representative for retail and office properties and is experienced in Tenant representation as well. Steve also serves as a consultant to privately-owned real estate portfolios held by both trusts and financial institutions.

Prior to joining Gershman, Steve was Vice President of Business Development for Pyramid Companies, St. Louis, MO,
the largest developer of mixed-use historic properties in the region. During his tenure with Pyramid, Steve worked in Federal and State Historic Tax Credits, Tax Incremental Financing, and Brownfield Credits.

Steve's institutional experience includes representation of U.S. Bancorp, Advantage Capital, Great Southern Bank, the FDIC, Central Bank, the St. Louis Treasurer’s Office, and the St. Louis Redevelopment Corporation.

In addition to his commercial development experience, he has consulted to and acted as construction manager for three golf course projects, including Tapawingo National Golf Course (a Gary Player Signature Golf Course) and its surrounding residential community located in Sunset Hills, Missouri.

Steve's efforts as a broker are founded in real estate development. Steve represents his clients in a manner allowing each a financial perspective of the deal rather than offering a purely transactional experience. Portfolio management of properties in 32 states and the knowledge gained from the construction and leasing of building projects for national tenants including Walgreens Drug Company, Sears, Ruler Stores, MidAtlantic Trust, Tuesday Morning, American Multi-Cinema, Metropolitan Life Insurance, Southeast Bank, and the Prudential Company underscores the effectiveness of his business model servicing his clients.
